If you follow me on Instagram, you would know that recently I had a baby and currently on maternity leave. With only having one income, it has made me be super creative with outfits and be very choosy on what I buy. I am all about spending the cash when purchasing investment pieces for my wardrobe. Some items you can get away with finding something similar to suit your budget and I like to call this luxe for less. It’s not at all buying a fake of a designer item that is a complete rip-off, but it’s about mixing your wardrobe with trend-base pieces that you live in for a season.
I absolutely love the Isabel Marant blouse pictured at the top of this post. It’s floaty, feminine and very boho which is still around for the coming warmer months, but it’s a shirt that I feel is around everywhere and not worth the investment for my tight budget. I literally squealed when I came across a similar blouse at Topshop, it was also cotton and perhaps a little more me (less ruffles) so I did the speediest add to cart ever!
It is a shame Topshop is no longer in Australia but shipping from the UK is reasonable. I have just styled the blouse with ASOS crop jeans and some silver slides.
